Igor Arturovich Davidenko is charged with leaving his military unit without authorization by failing to return to it after medical treatment. He ended up in the combat zone after being mobilized. The court of first instance in Novocherkassk sentenced Davidenko to 5.5 years in a general-regime penal colony under Part 5 of Article 337 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
