Case of Enyukov: Examination of the Witness and Summoning of Defense Witnesses

Case Details: The investigation established that Andrei Andreevich Enyukov was preparing to set fire to a fuel and lubricant storage facility in Sevastopol.

The case is being heard by the Southern District Military Court in a collegial composition, with Judge Kirill Nikolaevich Krivtsov presiding.

Witness Examination: The judge confirmed the witness’s identity and informed her of her rights.

The prosecutor began with the question, “In June 2022, did you visit the SS Galitsyna Telegram channel?” The judge corrected the prosecutor, stating that it’s Galichina, and requested that the examination be conducted respectfully.

The witness responded that she had entered the channel and described the type of materials that were shared there.

The prosecution had no further questions.

The judge then gave the floor to the defense.

Defendant Enyukov: “How did the law enforcement agencies and FSB personnel contact you?”

The prosecutor objected and requested the question to be withdrawn, but the judge denied the request.

Witness: “I was outraged that such posts were publicly available, and I contacted the authorities myself.”

The defense had no further questions.

The judge continued the examination, clarifying the details of the posts and their intended meaning.

The prosecutor filed a motion to examine the witness’s testimony to resolve contradictions. The contradiction concerns the lack of specific dates and details in the posts in the SS Galichina group. The motion was granted.

The defense has stated that there are witnesses to call. The judge instructed the defendant on how to prepare the witnesses and how to provide a list of witnesses for the next hearing.
