Case of Eniukov: Extension of Preventive Detention and Summoning Witnesses

About the Case: The investigation has established that Andrey Andreevich Eniukov was preparing to set fire to a fuel and lubricants warehouse in Sevastopol.

The case is being heard by the Southern Military District Court, with a panel of judges, presiding judge – Kirill Nikolaevich Krivtsov.

The prosecutor’s motion to extend the custody period by 3 months. The judges retire to the deliberation room to make a decision. The motion is granted, and the preventive measure is extended until July 26. A recess is announced for the parties to receive copies.

The prosecutor then read written testimonies: a conversation between Eniukov and his friend about military events and how to proceed, about security and preparations for possible acts of sabotage on their part, how to make Molotov cocktails, and what fuel to use.

The defense requests to question witnesses (the parents of the defendant Eniukov) via video conference. The judge suggested that the defendant invite the witnesses himself.
